4.1 PREPARATION F OR PROGR AMMING
Befor e proc eeding it will be nec essar y to define the c haracteristics of the s ystem, and c ons equently the us e of Vocalphone and its func tions.
PROGRAMMING STEPS
1) Enter the voc al messages and write the SMS messages contemplated in the s ystem.
2) Enter the repl y mess age with the operati onal instructi ons.
3) Enter the phone numbers and associate them with the different mess ages.
4) Enter the SETTINGS into the s ys tem as requested.
For models b y rad io (5442-5461):
5) Programme the radio-commands (from control unit, remote controls a/o other) of the voc al messages or SMS (TOOLS).
6) Programme the rec ei vers RX2 contemplated in the s ystem (SETTINGS – RADIO COMMANDS).
Notice:
1) CANCELLATION from the menu SETTINGS will eli minate all programs made.
2) The programs made which have not been erased remain stored on the extractable Eprom located at the bac k of the circuit down on the left;
in cas e the card should be replaced, the Eprom containing the programs c an be transferred to another card. Replacement has to be c arried out
after having disc onnected the power suppl y. Onl y the vocal mess ages will have to be recor ded again.
3) Models with GSM module : in stand-by c ondition the displ ay will show (right side) the available signal.
5) DESCRIPTION OF THE PROGR AMMINGS PROVIDED BY THE MENU
Notice: see the possible func tions for the model which is used.
5.1 Menu L ISTING
It is possibl e to memorize up to 64 phone numbers by NAME and POSITION, and to associ ate eac h single number with the voc al and SMS
mess ages required, as well as the opportunity for direct acc ess when c alling from the outside. The position is the first one available, and may be
changed usi ng the arrows ↑↓ . N umbers and their combination can be dis played and modified rec alling them by name or position.
Position 64 – verification of SIM-credit left: on models with GSM module enter the pr ovided number from the phone operator for credit left
control on position number 64: si mpl y pressing ↵ for a few sec onds a call will be made to the phone operator with subs equent (vocal) repl y:
follow the instr uctions of the operator for accessi ng this kind of information (attention: ↑ = ∗
Notice:
a)
each message s ent is repeated twice upon repl y of the number c alled. Putting * before the numbers in the list eac h vocal mess age sent on
the GSM network will be repeated 4 ti mes ( depending on the operator). In c ase the c alled number s hould be bus y or not available the c all
will be r epeated eac h 3min. for three times.
b) the direct acc ess allows listeni ng and life conversation by means of the DEPORTER access ory, sending of c arrying out commands,
chec king of the commanded outputs and modification of the phone numbers (see bel ow) without any entering of the us er code: for safety
reasons it is necess ary to c onsi der possible loss of the phone which has direct access.
5.2 Menu MESSAGES
VOCAL MESSAGES: it is possible to record, to listen to and to re-recor d up to 5 voc al mess ages. The first 4 mess ages are referred to the 4
wire/radi o al arm-inputs, whereas the fifth one is used for the dialler to repl y to possible c alls: for this reason it has to provide the user with
precise indications regarding how to acc ess the ambiental listening and how to c ommand tas ks both by wire and by radio.
The maximum laps e of time for rec ording is 120 sec onds, automaticall y di vided between the 5 mess ages (the seconds are displayed during
registration). During the recordi ng of the messages it is nec essar y to press key ↵
SMS MESSAGES: it is possible to memorize and to modify up to 10 SMS mess ages of 24 characters, c orresponding to 10 wire/radi o alar m-
inputs . Automatic positi oning (increasing order) which can be modifi ed with the ↑↓ keys.
5.3 Menu TOOLS
RADIO CODES VOC AL MESSAGES: it is possible to programme/cancel up to 10 devic es by radi o (remote controls, detec tors, control units)
for enabling exit of eac h of the 4 vocal mess ages. Automatic positioning (increasing order) whic h can be modified with the ↑↓ keys.
Control units: set Voc alphone for entering radi o code then trans mit the c ontrol panel code as described in its manual (5008/5407 by
temporaril y closing terminal K on GND).
Remote controls (two operati ons mode):
A) Pre-arrange Voc alphone then press the red and green keys together for 2 sec. and chec k the learning on the di aler. Pressing the red key
the associated message will leave, whereas pressi ng of the green key will interrupt whatever kind of c all in pr ogress.
B) Pre-arrange Vocalphone then pr ess the blue (or yellow) key for 10 sec. and chec k the l earning on the dialer. Pressing the bl ue key the
associated message will leave and c an onl y be bloc ked by entering the user a/o installer code.
Detectors and sen sors: pre-arrange Vocal phone, ins ert the battery into the detector and chec k the l earning on the dialer.
W arning: always confirm b y pr essing ↵ for storing the entered r adio code.
RADIO CODES SMS MESSAGES: it is possi ble to schedule/c ancel up to 10 devic es by r adio (remote c ontrols, detectors, control units) for
enabling exit of each of the 10 SMS messages. Automatic positioning (increasing order) which c an be modified with the ↑↓ keys.
Operati ons c an be made as vocal messages.

5.4 Menu SETTING

SETTING OF THE REL AY FOR DOMOTIC T ASKS "out TC1" : the functioning of the rel ay may be either i mpulsive (detec tor), with
programmabl e timi ng between 1 and 999 sec ., or bistabl e (remote c ontrol) ON-OFF. Default functioning is propulsive, with timing 2 s ec. F or
modifying the timi ng enter the number of s econds r equired.
