Mount the speed controller in the model so that it is isolated from vibration and shock and make sure
the heatsink is free for best cooling. Make sure that there is sufficient cooling of the motor and speed
controller by directing adequate cooling air from the outside airflow.
Setting the Standard Mode / First operation
1. Make sure all the cable leads are properly connected.
2. Turn the transmitter on and check the servo travel of the throttle channel which should be ±100% or, with
Multiplex R/C systems, ±80%. Graupner/JR, Multiplex systems need reversing (REVERSE) the throttle arm
travel! With Robbe/Futaba systems, the latter should be set to "NORMAL" = 1.5ms. The throttle trigger
should now be either at position "Motor off"! The throttle range and neutral position is fixed. You may
correct the transmitter way and neutral position on the transmitter.
3. Turn the transmitter on (position "ON"), then push the throttle lever into position "Motor off ".
4. Connect the battery to the controller, mind the correct polarity. Plug in the power battery and try only once
to plug in. Do not touch the contact several times.
5. Switch on the speed-controller.
6. The speed controller is now ready to use
7. Move the transmitter stick forward, to drive forward. Move it backward to drive backwards.
8. After operating, switch off the speed-controller and disconnect the drive battery.

Warning: Once the main power pack is connected, handle the model with extreme care – Ensure
that everyone is well clear of the propeller at all times. Rotating propellers are extremely dangerous!

Connect the main power pack just before the use and disconnect it immediately after using the model.
