Fitting instructions
1)
Disassemble the bumper and the exhaust and permanently remove the metal buffer beam.
2)
Place the mounting pieces (g) and (f) with the points (A) on the bolts wich are liberated after having
removed the buffer beam. Place the washers and nuts but do not tighten yet. Place afterwards the
mounting pieces (g) and (f) so that the points (D) and (D') are matching. Pay attention that the mounting
pieces are coming completely against the chassis beams. Drill, as well as on the left side as on the right
side of the vehicle, the points (B) through till in the trunk with Ø10,5mm. Place now the mounting plates
(h) in the trunk so that these are overlapping the chassis beams. Insert by (B) the bolts but do not tighten
yet.
3)
Drill now the points (C) through with Ø10,5mm, insert the bolts, place the washers at the bottom but do
not tighten yet.
4)
Place now the tow bar between the already mounted pieces so that the points (D) and (D') of the tow bar
are matching with those of the mounting pieces.
Insert the bolts and tighten everything firmly.
5)
Make an incision in the bumper as on drawing enclosed and replace the bumper.
6)
Assemble (*) and tighten firmly.

Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
