Turn power switch off before inserting or removing the bobbin.

GETTING READY TO SEW
1. When inserting or removing the bobbin, the needle and
presser foot must be fully raised.
2. Remove bobbin cover plate. Remove empty bobbin
from bobbin case and insert wound bobbin.
3. With the thread running in a counterclockwise direction
(see arrow), slip thread into notch at the front as shown.

4. While holding the bobbin down with the tip of your fi nger,
pull the thread fi rmly through the slit (A). Draw the thread
clockwise until it slips into the notch (B).
5. Pull about 6-8 inches of thread toward the back of the
needle plate and attach the bobbin cover plate.
