4. Safety Instructions
The guarantee/warranty will be void if damage is incurred resulting from non-compliance with
the operating instructions. We will not assume liability for any resulting damage.
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury, caused by improper use
or failure to observe the safety instructions. In such cases the guarantee is voided.
Dear Customer, The following safety instructions are intended not only for the protection of your health but
also for the protection of the device. Please read through the following points carefully:
•
The unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible because of safety and approval
reasons (CE).
•
The design of this product complies with safety class I. The only permissible voltage source is a proper mains
socket (220-250V~ 50/60Hz) of the public supply network with an earthing contact.
•
Never touch the mains plug when your hands are wet.
•
Make sure the mains cable is not squashed, bent, damaged through sharp edges or otherwise subjected to
mechanical strain. Avoid excess thermal stress on the mains cable through excess heat or cold. Do not modify
the mains cable. This may damage the mains cable. A damaged power cord can result in a life-threatening electric
shock.
•
If the mains cable has been damaged, do not touch it. First of all, cut off the power supply to the relevant mains
socket (e.g. via the circuit breaker) and then pull the mains plug carefully out of the mains socket. Do not use the
product anymore afterwards but bring it to a specialised workshop.
•
All persons operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this fog machine must be trained and
qualified correspondingly and observe these operating instructions.
•
The device must be disconnected from mains voltage when not in use. Pull the mains plug. If you cannot access
the mains plug due to installation, for example, you have to disconnect all poles from the mains.
•
Consult an expert when in doubt about the operation, the safety or the connection of the device.
•
The device is not a toy and is not suitable for children. Children do not understand how dangerous electrical
devices can be. Keep the device out of the reach of children.
•
Do not place any containers with liquid, e.g. glasses, buckets, vases or plants in the immediate proximity of the
product. Liquids could seep into the casing and in doing so impair the electrical safety of the device. There is also
a significant risk of fire or a fatal electric shock. If this is the case, de-energize the respective socket (e.g. switch
off circuit breaker) and only then pull the plug-in mains unit from the socket. Disconnect all cables from the device.
After that, the product must no longer be used; take it to a specialist workshop.
