6.3.8 Maximum speed
Set the maximum speed.
Setting range: 3000 - 10,700 rpm.
Factory setting
10,700 rpm.
Dry-running stop at reduced maximum pump
speed:
If the maximum pump speed has been reduced, the
dry-running stop value in display
stop
must be changed.
Calculating the minimum power limit:
If the pump is worn, a renewed calculation
of the minimum power limit may be
required.
The calculated value is used in the display
6.3.7 Dry-running
Step
Start the pump against a closed outlet
1
valve.
Read the power input (P1) in the display
2
6.2.5 Power
Calculate the minimum power limit as
3
follows: Power limit [W] = P1 × 0.9.
6.3.9 Cut-in speed
In the case of an oversized pump or drastically
changing water levels, this function may cause
excess pressure at startup in relation to the desired
outlet pressure. The cut-in speed can therefore be
lowered to compensate.
Setting range: 3000 - 10,700 rpm (100 rpm
intervals).
Factory setting
8200 rpm
6.3.10 Buttons on product
Disable the on/off button on CU 301 for protective
reasons.
You can set the on/off button to the following:
•
"Active"
•
"Not active".
Factory setting
"Active".
6.3.7 Dry-running
stop.
Action
consumption.
6.3.11 Number
When allocating a number, the power
supply to other CU 301 units, if any, must
be switched off.
Allocate a number to CU 301 and the pump
connected. CU 301 and the pump must have the
same number. In situations where multiple CU 301s
are installed in same location, they must have
separate numbers.
Setting range: "Not active", 1, 2, .... 199.
Once a number setting is made, the factory setting
(not active) is no longer available.
If CU 301 and the pump do not have the same
number, the alarm "No contact" will be indicated.
When installing a new CU 301 on an
existing SQE where a number was
previously assigned, a new number must
be assigned to pair the two devices.
The SQE pump must be connected to CU
301.
Factory setting
"Not active".
6.3.12 Indicator lights
The indicator light setting can be changed in
Grundfos GO Remote.
Available settings:
•
"Running lights" during pump operation (factory
setting).
•
"Constant lights" during pump operation.
6.3.13 Store settings
Store the actual settings for later use.
6.3.14 Recall settings
Recall the last stored settings that the pump will then
use.
6.3.15 Undo
Undo previously made settings.
6.3.16 Unit configuration
Select between SI and US units. The setting can be
made generally for all parameters or customized for
each individual parameter.
Factory setting
According to the front foil.
