Connection

Before connection, disconnect the mixer and all other devices which are to be connected to the
mixer from the mains voltage (pull mains plug out of the socket).
Use suitable high-quality cables to connect the inputs and outputs. Using the wrong cables can
cause interferences.
The inputs and outputs of the mixer must not be connected to a power source.
To avoid distortion or mismatches that may damage the mixer, only suitable devices equipped
with the right inputs and outputs may be connected to the inputs and outputs of the mixer.
See the connection values in the chapter „Specifications".

Connecting the mono inputs

(1) MIC input
Either condenser microphones or dynamic microphones can be connected to this XLR input via a symmetric line. For
condenser microphones the required phantom power can be switched on using the PHANTOM button (43). The input
is suitable for symmetric and asymmetric microphones.
(2) Mono LINE input
A playback source with a LINE level, such as a keyboard or synthesizer, can be connected to the symmetrical 6.3
mm mono jack socket input.
Please note that only one kind of signal can be connected to one mono channel: either the LINE input
or the microphone input. Both inputs must not be connected simultaneously.
