Connection and control elements
(9) MON control
The MON control adjusts the level of a channel on the monitor channel. The monitor channel signal is led out before
the channel fader and is thus independent from the fader setting (pre-fader).
Leftmost position = minimum level
Rightmost position = maximum level
(10) FX control
The FX control adjusts the level of a channel on the FX channel bus. The FX channel bus signal is put out via the
FX SEND output (41). The FX channel signal is led out before then channel fader and is thus independent from the
fader setting (post-fader).
Leftmost position = minimum level
Rightmost position = maximum level
(11) BATT ON switch
The BATT ON switch is used to save battery power when the mixer is battery-powered. To prolong battery life, each
individual channel can be turned off or on. If you are not using a channel, simply turn it off using the BATT ON switch
(switch is not depressed).
The BATT ON switch is also active when the mixer is mains-operated. In order to use a mixer channel,
the respective BATT ON switch must be depressed.
To avoid interference that could result from operating the BATT ON switch, slide down the channel
fader completely before switching off the channel.
(12) Channel faders
The channel fader adjusts the level of a channel.
bottom position = minimum level
top position = maximum level
Channel faders of unused channels should be slid all the way down. This reduces the possibility of
interference.
(13) PAN control
The PAN control is a kind of balance control for the mono signal. The PAN control sets the distribution of the split
mono signal between the left and the right channel. In centre position, the mono signal is distributed equally to the
left and the right channel.
