DEFROSTING
Frozen foods can be defrosted in the Oven more safely than on a kitchen
counter and more quickly than in a refrigerator.
•
Press the Defrost function button. The Green Indicator Light will illuminate.
•
Set the time by pressing the up or down arrows until the desired time
shows in the Display Window (maximum 1 hour).
•
The Temperature will automatically set for 100°F/25°C.
•
Press the On/Off button to start the oven. The Oven will turn off and beep
when the time has elapsed. NOTE: The oven can be turned off at any
time during the Defrost cycle by pressing the On/Off Button.
Helpful Hints
•
Thaw food by placing in a pan to collect any liquids.
•
Any food that requires more than one hour to thaw should be defrosted
in a refrigerator.
BROILING
•
Slide the Baking/Broiling Pan with the Broiling Drip Tray into any of the
three levels depending on the thickness of the food.
•
Press the Broil function button. The green indicator light will illuminate.
•
Set the Time by pressing the up or down arrows until the desired time
shows in the Display Window.
•
The Temperature for broiling will be automatically set at 450°F/235°C.
•
Press the On/Off button to start the oven. The Oven will turn off and beep
when the time has elapsed. NOTE: The oven can be turned off at any
time during the Broiling cycle by pressing the On/Off Button.
