Temperature indicator
The temperature indicator bars show the heating-up
phases or residual heat in the oven cavity.
Heating-up indi-
The heating-up indicator displays the
cator
rising temperature in the oven cavity.
When all bars are filled, the optimal
time for placing the food in the oven
has been reached. In the broiling and
cleaning settings, the bars are all al-
ready filled at the start. The bars are
not filled for the gentle top/bottom heat-
ing type.
Residual heat
When the appliance is switched off, the
indicator
temperature indicator shows the resid-
ual heat in the oven cavity. Once the
temperature has dropped to approxi-
mately 140 °F (60 °C), the indicator
goes out.

Surfaces in the oven cavity
The back wall and side parts in the oven cavity are self-
cleaning. You can tell this from the rough surface.
The oven cavity floor and ceiling are enameled and have
smooth surfaces.
Self-cleaning surfaces
The self-cleaning surfaces are coated with a porous, matte
ceramic layer. This coating absorbs and dispels splashes
from baking and roasting while the appliance is in opera-
tion.
CAUTION
Do not use oven cleaner on the self-cleaning surfaces.
These will damage the surfaces.
If oven cleaner does get onto these surfaces, dab it off
