Wrapped up leaves, grass and small branch-
es are best loosened using a knife or scis-
sors and then removed.

Insert the cleaned or new brush roller and
ensure that it sits properly.
Clean brush strip
Please clean the brush strip after each use.

Position the appliance in an upright position
(see Chapter "Storing the appliance").

Loosen and remove the dirt from the bristles,
preferably by scraping.
Note: Clean deep dirt that cannot be removed by
scraping under running water. Please remove
the brush strip for this procedure.
Remove the brush strips

Loosen the 3 screws and remove the brush
strip.
!
Clean the brush strip under running water.
Let it dry before reuse.

When replacing the brush strip please insert
as shown in the figure.

The terms of the guarantee applicable in each

national distributors. We will repair possible
faults on your unit free of charge within the war-
ranty period, insofar as the faults are caused by
material defects or defective workmanship.
Guarantee claims should be addressed to your
dealer or the nearest authorized customer serv-
ice centre, and supported by documentary evi-
dence of purchase.
Troubleshooting
Appliance stops cleaning abruptly

Total discharge protection has turned off the
appliance. Charge the battery (refer chapter
"Carging the battery).
Creaking sound, brush does not rotate
!
Slip clutch was triggered. Switch off the ap-
pliance, clean the brush roller.
Appliance does not clean properly
!
Brush roller is contaminated or worn. Switch
the appliance off, clean or replace the brush
rollers (refer to chapter "Replace/ clean
brush roller").

Brush strip is dirty. Switch the appliance off,
clean the brush strip (see chapter "Cleaning
the brush strip").

Brush crank is stuck. Switch off the appli-
ance and release the crank.
!
Dirt container is full. Empty the dirt container
(refer to chapter "Empty dirt container").
Appliance is difficult to push
!
Wheels are blocked. Switch the appliance
off, remove dirt, rolled up leaves, grass or
small branches.
