4. Storing
○ When not in use for an extended period, apply a thin
coat of the lubricant to the steel parts to avoid rust.
○ Do not store the Stapler in a cold weather
environment.
Keep the Stapler in a warm area.
○ When not in use, the Stapler should be stored in a
warm and dry place.
Keep out of reach of children.

5. WARNING LABEL

Do not use the Stapler with missing or damaged
WARNING LABEL.
A new WARNING LABEL is available from a Hitachi
authorized service center.

CAUTION
● Repair, modifi cation and inspection of Hitachi
Power Tools must be carried out by an Hitachi
Authorized Service Center.

ACTION
Drain air line fi lter daily.
Keep lubricator fi lled.
Clean fi lter element and blow air
through fi lter in direction opposite to
normal fl ow daily.
Clean staples and caps magazine and
staples and caps feeding mechanism.
Keep push lever working properly.
Lubricate the Stapler after stapling.
Drain air compressor daily.
MODIFICATIONS:
Hitachi Power Tools are constantly being improved
and modifi ed to incorporate the latest technological
advancements.
Accordingly, some parts (i.e. code numbers and/or
design) may be changed without prior notice.

SERVICE AND REPAIRS

All quality Staplers will eventually require servicing or
replacement of parts because of wear from normal use.
NOTE:
WHY
Prevent accumulation of moisture
and dirt.
Keep the Stapler lubricated.
Prevent clogging of fi lter with dirt.
Prevent a jam.
Promote operator safety and effi cient
Stapler operation.
Extend the Stapler life.
Keep the Stapler operated properly.
This Parts List will be helpful if presented with
the tool to the Hitachi Authorized Service Center
when requesting repair or other maintenance. In
the operation and maintenance of power tools,
the safety regulations and standards prescribed
in each country must be observed.
WARNING
● Only service personnel trained by Hitachi,
distributor or employer shall repair the
Stapler.
● Use only parts supplied or recommended by
Hitachi for repair.
Specifi cations are subject to change without any
obligation on the part of HITACHI.
Open manual petcock.
Fill with Hitachi pneumatic tool
lubricant.
Follow manufacturer's instructions.
Blow clean daily.
Blow clean daily.
Supply 5 – 10 drops of lubricant into
the Stapler.
Open petcock on air compressor
tank.
