b) Wall mounting
Wall mounting is only permitted when the wall properties are suitable for it. Thin light-weight construction
walls or plasterboard panels with unstable subconstructions are usually not suitable. There may be special
dowels for such mounting sites in specialist trade. In doubt, ask a specialist before mounting.
Depending on base (e.g. concrete), suitable mounting material must be used for installation (screws, dow-
els, etc.). The enclosed dowels and screws are suitable for solid walls only. Special dowels and screws are
not enclosed with the product and must be acquired separately depending on the wall properties.
Plan the mounting site with care, so that the soundbar is in the desired location (height and position) after
installation.
When drilling or tightening screws, ensure that no wires or lines in the wall are damaged. If electrical lines
are drilled into by accident, there is a danger to life from electric shock!
Observe your safety when handling electrical tools (e.g. a drill). Observe the safety notes in the corre-
sponding instructions.
1 Remove the screws for the wall holders (4) from the speakers.
2 Attach the wall holder to the speakers with the previously re-
moved screws (4).
3 Drill two attachment holes for the wall holders into the attach-
ment area. The holes must be drilled at a distance of 778 mm.
Use a spirit level for horizontal alignment. The diameter of the
bores must be coordinated with the dowels used. If you use the
enclosed screws and dowels, drill holes with a diameter of 6 mm.
4 If you use dowels, plug them into the holes drilled before. The
dowels must be entirely inserted into the bore. Use a hammer on
demand to fully sink them in.
5 Screw two screws into the attachment holes and let the screw
heads protrude from the bore by about 5 mm. Attach the soundbar
to the two screw heads with the wall holders.
