4.9- Dust Protection Cap (Fig.9)
When working overhead, push dust protection cap [g] over the drill bit, with
the open side showing towards the end of the bit.
Empty as often as is required, and push over the drill bit again
4.10- Refilling Grease (see Fig.2)
Note: It is recommended that the grease reservoir is checked approximately
every 10 hours of operation.
1. First use the spanner (Fig.10 [c]) to loosen the cover (3), lift it off, and
below it, and open the closing cap of grease reservoir.
2. Remove a corresponding amount of grease, and press it into the grease
reservoir.
3. Twist closing cap and the cover (3) back into place with the spanner.
4.11- Working with chisel.
4.11.1- Working with flat chisel (Fig.11)
Flat chisel [d] is used for finer chiselling work such as loosening
ceramic tiles, removal of tile adhesive, etc.
4.11.2- Working with pointed chisel (Fig.12)
Pointed chisel [e] is best used for coarse chiselling such as breaking
up cement or concrete flagstones, walls, etc.
V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
- The product is intended for domestic use for dry works.
- The product is intended only for drilling and for chiselling.
- The tool is not intended for professional or industrial use.
- Do not use tool for purposes not intended.
- Ensure that the dimensions of bits correspond to those indicated on the rating label or characteristics.
- Do not use this tool for works for which it is not designed.
5.2- Before starting
- Before plugging the rotary hammer, check that the voltage of your main power source is the same as
the voltage shown on the machine's rating plate.
- CAUTION! Material Damage! Excess pressure can cause material damage.
When hammer drilling; only a light pressure is required.
Excessive pressure overloads the motor unnecessarily, and can cause damage.
5.3- Operation:
1. Wear appropriate protective equipment for the work you intend to carry out.
2. Prepare material for work.
3. Secure material, if necessary.
Do not use your own weight or body to hold material.
4. Insert accessory into chuck (drill bit or chisel)
5. Connect product to a power source (refer to characteristics on product).
