STEP C – INSTALLATION OF THE POOL LINER UND UPPER BAR
Note: If you plan to operate a fi ltration system for the SP, you have to carry out a part of the installation
of the skimmer prior to the fi xing of the pool liner. Read the respective instruction for the installation of
the skimmer and follow it.
1. SETTLE THE POOL LINER IN PLACE
a. Open the box containing the pool liner. Do not use any sharp objects to open the box.
b. Unroll and spread the pool liner on the sun, allow for a warm up. Check the surface of the liner and
all seams for openings.
c. Spread the liner (7) in the SP (see fi g.3-11) so that the faces of the seams were oriented upwards. The
arched seam should be in the centre of the arched part of the corner fi ll. Other seams will form lines
across the bottom of the swimming pool.
d. Smoothen all wrinkles of the pool liner on the bottom of the SP.
2. FIX THE POOL LINER TO THE WALL
a. Pull the pool liner [7] over the edge of the wall [1] and fi x it with several clasping bars [6] or with laundry pegs
temporarily at the place. For the time being, let the pool liner as it is. Do not tighten the pool liner too much.
b. Start fi lling water to the SP. As the SP gets fi lled up, smoothen all wrinkles and smoothen the pool
liner in circles towards the wall. You can use a fi ne brush to that effect. Never push on the pool liner
too much and do not pull it. Proceed quickly as just few centimetres of water can squeeze the pool
liner to the bottom so that you can not move it anymore without damaging it. Keep the arched seam
approximately in the centre of the corner fi ll. (see Fig.3-11)
c. Having smoothed the bottom, keep on adding water and smoothen the liner on the wall. Pay attention to
the fact that the SP liner should not get tightened and no air gap should be caused by that. (see Fig.3-13)
d. Having smoothened the pool liner, fi x the edge of the pool liner with the clasping bar [6]. Follow up
this way all along the perimeter of the SP:
e. Having fi rst pressed down the liner to remove all wrinkles from it, cut off the protruding part of the last
plastic clasping bar [6] so that its end rest just next to the following bar (see Fig. 3-12). Plastic clasping
bar might not be included in all models of Azuro pools. In such situation you can temporarily repla-
ce it by a laundry pegs.
f. Now press the plastic rail [6] to the clasping bar [4]. Affi x another plastic rail [2] by means of a pair of fl
exible coupling connectors [4] and follow up this way all along the perimeter of the SP. (see Fig. 3-12)
Note: The delivered coupling connectors [2] are in two modifi cations – the connectors without
a longitudinal section are intended for the lower frame, the connectors with a longitudinal section are
intended for the upper frame.
g. Shorten the last plastic rail down to the required length and affi x it to the rest of the upper frame by
means of a pair of coupling connectors (see Fig. 3-12).
Note: A gentle corrugation of the pool liner during its installation is natural. It is caused by the play of the
vinyl material which protects the liner from shrinking.
Note: The liner is not a part of the SP construction. Its main function is to prevent water from leaking out
of the SP. The pressure of water is kept by means of the walls and parts of the SP construction. The liner
must properly adhere to the ground, the corner fi ll and the SP wall. It may never bear the weight of
water which might damage it.
3. FIX THE SELF-ADHESIVE WARNING LABEL
Next to point of entry to and exit from the SP, fi x the self-adhesive warning label. Keep in mind that the
SP is not deep enough for safe jumping. There is a risk of injury.
