7. MAINTENANCE OF ATU
AND FILTER REPLACEMENT

7.1. General

The appliance tells you if the filter needs replacing by showing "Replace filter".
It is nonetheless recommended to check your appliance on a regular basis. When there is a lot of pollen about the screens
and ducts can get dirty very quickly. Placed inside the appliance and outside in suction, these items should be cleaned so the
air in your installation passes more easily.
IN ANY EVENT :
THE FILTER HAS TO BE REPLACED AT LEAST EVERY SIX MONTHS.
THE SCREENS, AIR DIFFUSERS AND DUCTS HAVE TO BE CLEANED SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR.
N.B. : a failure to replace the filter can cause the following problems :
• A lower airflow and the risk of condensation problems reappearing.
• Premature fouling of the ducts and the unit via dust release.
• Higher air circulation noises.
The original filter placed in the appliance is a category G4 filter that can filter 90% of particles that are 10 microns and over.
It is best to obtain your filters from Murprotec. The telephone number is on the control box : they are fully acquainted with
your equipment and the settings made. From all the various types of filters you have to choose one that is perfectly consistent
with the filtration sizes and category that have been set. If a different category is used or the filter is significantly altered this
could lead to serious malfunctioning as a result of which toxic or hazardous substances could be emitted into your house and
the warranty may be invalidated.
Do not hesitate to get in touch with your supplier in the event of any problems.
Explanation
Caused by voltage decrease or power cut
There is no filter in the appliance or
the cover is open
The filter is worn out. It has to be changed
The ventilator is not working
The temperature sensor is not working
The electronics are not working.
Solution
Check to see if there is a POWER CUT.
Does not affect the appliance.
Put in a new filter or close the cover
(see § 6.3 or 7.3).
Replace the filter (see § 7.3).
