1. EQUIPMENT

1.1. High-quality equipment

The air treatment unit (ATU) has been designed and produced with high-performance materials now available on the
European market, including :
• A ventilator (265 pascals) producing a maximum airflow of 185 m
resistant at operating temperatures of 70°C.
• Heating resistors with electrocoated vanes and heating elements with stainless steel tubes.
• A computer controlled electronic system for combining performance and the management of all the parameters for tempe-
rature control, airflows and the fouling condition of the filtering media.
• A frame treated on all its surfaces and assembled with stainless steel screws and bolts

1.2. Meticulous craftsmanship

On leaving the production stage, each unit undergoes a series of careful tests before being accepted.
On top of these tests, all the appliances are individually checked on the basis of pre-commissioning trials.
The equipment is consistent with EC standards :
EN 55014-1 (2006) ; EN 55014-2 (2008) ; EN 61000-3-2 (2006) ; EN 61000-3-3 (2005).

1.3. Security devices for each function

The ventilation and heating function stops operating when something is wrong with a component or an object is interfering
with its proper functioning.
The electronics and the ventilator are protected by a 1.25A fuse.
The electric heating resistors are protected by a 6.3A fuse.
The unit is protected by a thermal fuse in the event of overheating owing to the failure of one of the management systems.
Whenever there is a failure, the appliance automatically switches to safety position, stops and the control unit shows an error
message to indicate disablement.

2. USE

2.1. Important notices

Your appliance has to be installed by an accredited installer, and any technical operations, apart from the filter replacement
process which is your responsibility, have to be undertaken by a member of our staff.
Any operation, apart from the filter replacement process, could affect the warranty.
We reserve the right to make any changes needed to boost the equipment's performance.
