6.4. Alarms
Alarm1 and Alarm2 are two independent alarms. Press ALARM or MENU > Alarm > OK
Choose Alarm 1 or 2 and press the OK button to select. Use p/q to choose between: Alarm-
Mode, Alarm-Time, Alarm-Sound, Alarm-Volume and press OK to confirm.

Press p/q to adjust the mode, time, sound and volume settings, then press OK to move between
the digits. When the alarm(s) is/are set, there will be a clock icon at the bottom of the display. The
clock icon with alarm time will also be displayed on the standby mode screen. During alarm, press
any key to enter snooze mode. It will alarm again after 5 minutes. Press the
key to stop the
alarm.
Note: If the alarm sound is set to DAB/FM, please make sure that the antenna is extended and has
a good reception to activate the alarm properly. The radio will automatically switch to "Buzzer" if no
DAB/FM signal is available while the alarm starts.
During an active alarm, you need to turn off the Alarm first in order to adjust the volume or select
another station.
6.5. Sleep (Timer)
The Sleep Timer automatically turns the radio off after the adjusted time: 15/30/45/60/75/90/105/120
minutes. Once the time is set, there will be a moon icon at the top of the display. The DR 871 will
switch into Standby mode once the time runs out.
Press
or MENU > Sleep > OK to set the Sleeptimer. To disable or change the timer again press
or Menu > Sleep > OFF > OK
6.6. Factory Reset
Restore the default settings. Please note that all station presets, settings and configuration will be
lost after you have performed the "Factory Reset".

Shows the Software and DAB Version
6.8. Language
Default OSD language is German, you may change to: English/Français/Deutsch/Italiano
