We declare under our sole responsibility that this product corros-
ponds to the regulations 89/336/EG and 73/23/EG and conforms
with the standards or standardized documents DIN EN IEC 61
010-1 and DIN EN IEC 61 326-1.
Warranty
You have purchased an original IKA laboratory machine which
meets the highest engineering and quality standards.
In accordance with IKA warranty conditions, the warranty period
is 24 months. For claims under the warranty please contact your
local dealer. You may also send the machine direct to our works,

enclosing the delivery invoice and giving reasons for the claim. You
will be liable for freight costs.
The warranty does not cover wearing parts, nor does it apply to

faults resulting from improper use or insufficient care and

maintenance contrary to the instructions in this operating manual.

If you require servicing, return the appliance in its original packa-

ging. Storage packaging is not sufficient. Please also use suitable

transport packaging.

In order to be able to use the appliance properly and safely, every

user must first read the operating instructions and observe the
safety instructions contained therein. Take care of these operating
instructions and keep them in a place where they can be accessed
by everyone.
Only trained staff who are familiar with the appliance and who are
authorised to work in this area may operate this appliance, espe-
cially under a vacuum, using flammable liquids or explosive or
noxious substances.
Please follow the relevant safety instructions and guidelines, and
occupational health and safety regulations for use in the labora-
tory. When working under a vacuum in particular!
When working with the device, the user must select and wear his
personal protective equipment according to the mixing hazard
category of the medium.
When using media such as toxic liquids, gases, mist, vapours or
dusts, or, in some cases, biological or microbiological substances,
the user runs the risk of coming into contact with or inhaling the
medium.
