2. Insert the filter holder into the slot in front of the
lamp housing ⑥. (Fig. 9)
3. When the filter holder is in place, reinstall the filter
holder knob.

7.1.6 Installing the bulb

1. Open the lamp housing cover. (Fig. 10)
2. Insert the halogen bulb into its holder ⑦. (Fig. 11)
• Do NOT touch the bulb with the bare hands,
this could reduce the bulb efficiency and
lifetime.
3. Plug the power cable from the lamp housing to
the microscope body. (Fig. 12)
