31. Be aware of the vibration while lifting and
lowering
the
device.
activation of the lifting and lowering lever may
cause an increase in vibration until the device
and/or the load become unstable and tip over,
thus cause damage or injury.
32. When driving/manoeuvring with a raised load in
order to store or stack goods (pallets), beware
of the castor effect on steering. This may occur,
for example, if the stacker truck is pushed
towards or under a load, so the wheels are
pointed "forward", and the stacker truck (after
being loaded) is then being pulled with the
wheels rotated 180°. Since lifted loads are
generally more unstable, do not manoeuvre the
stacker truck too quickly and if possible with the
fork lowered.
33. Never use water to clean electrical components
of the stacker truck. Use compressed air or a
slightly damp cloth to clean surfaces. Live parts
may only be cleaned using a dry rag or
compressed air.
34. Disconnect the battery from the unit before
cleaning and maintenance by pulling the plug
connector from the battery. When cleaning the
battery, make sure not to touch both poles
simultaneously.
35. Do not overload the equipment. Pay attention to
the permitted load capacity. Non-observance
can lead to severe damage.
36. The battery poses a certain amount of electrical
danger. Injury to the operator and damage to
equipment and goods may occur if the stacker
truck is used improperly, manipulated or not
repaired correctly, or if incorrect replacement
parts are used.
37. The battery contains hazardous substances
harmful to health and dangerous for the
environment.
38. Use the provided original charger only. Other
chargers might have a negative impact on the
service life or performance of the battery, or at
worst destroy the battery.
39. Only use original HanseLifter® replacement
parts.
40. Safety devices always serve to protect of the
operator and the device - never attempt to
override them or manipulate in any way.

41. Make sure that the equipment is never exposed
to any moisture. If exposed to moisture,
disconnect
the
power
equipment and dry it accordingly. Only use the
device when it is completely dry.
42. The electrical components (motor, battery,
controller, etc.) can become warm during
operation. Take care not to touch any warm or
hot parts. Wait until the parts have cooled down
before the stacker truck is serviced, checked,
cleaned, etc.
43. Immediately discontinue work if components
reach excessively high temperatures during
operation,
disconnect
(emergency stop / disconnect battery) and have
the stacker truck checked by a qualified service
technician before renewed use.
