POWER PEAK® TRIPLE 360 W EQ-BID

11. ERROR MESSAGES

Power Peak® Triple 360 W EQ-BID is equipped with special safety features to ensure
safe and reliable charging and discharging operation. As soon as a fault occurs, a cor-
responding message appears in the display and the piezo buzzer emits a shrill warning
tone. After eliminating the cause, the following error messages can be acknowledged by
pressing any button.
reprogram the BID (stored information will be reset)
Operating instructions
Input voltage outside permitted range (11 - 15 Volt)
Charging or discharging started without connection
to battery, connect battery as well as check the con-
nector lead
Battery connected with polarity reversed, check
connection
Short-circuit in charging/discharging current circuit,
check connections
Battery/output voltage too high, check number of
cells
Battery/output voltage too low, check number of cells
BID chip/key separated from charger during active
operation, stop procedure, check connection to chip
and restart.
The Power Peak® Triple 360 W EQ-BIDBID is not
able to process the Chip/key information, e.g the
programmed cell count or capacity is too large, or
the unsupported battery type N/A (USER). Please

2.75 Volt for LiPo and LiIo or 2.0 Volt for LiFe.
