11 Maintenance

11.1 Maintenance by user

Spray the contacts using contact spray preferably after every use, but at least every
6 months. The contacts of the bus system must be treated with suitable contact oil
once a year. Protect unused terminals using protection caps (included in scope of
delivery).

11.2 Maintenance by Torqeedo Service

Every 8 years – regardless of usage – the leak-tightness of the Power 48-5000, the
status of the cells, the safety of the system, and the content of the error memory
must be checked by Torqeedo Service.
