INTENDED USE
This product is an inspection camera for the BS-1500T endoscope (not included, available
separately), designed for optical troubleshooting or inspecting long pipe systems as well as
machines and installations that are disconnected from a power supply. The flexible camera
neck allows the camera on top to access inaccessible positions. The plastic camera cover
protects the the metal camera head from accidental contact with live parts.
The reel included with the product enables the camera and the camera neck to be rolled
up easily, and the tripod ensures that the camera stands in a secure position. The 8 LEDs
built into the camera head allow recording in completely dark areas. The brightness can be
gradually adjusted using the connected endoscope. The waterproof camera neck and camera
head are designed for contact with liquids (no acids or alkaline solutions). It is forbidden to
use the product on people and animals and in potentially explosive environments Power is
supplied via the connected endoscope device.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged.
In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc.
Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties
only together with its operating instructions.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information
on proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting
personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the
warranty/guarantee.
a) Persons / Product
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become
dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if
the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stress.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are
connected to the product.
• The endoscope must not be used in potentially explosive areas, areas carrying a
live voltage or for inspecting people and animals.
• Always roll the camera neck onto the reel when it is not in use.
• Avoid strong vibrations. The bending radius must not be less than the minimum
of 10 cm.
• The reel is not waterproof and therefore cannot be inserted under water. Protect
this part of the product against splashing water.
• The product may only be used for inspecting facilities that do not carry a live
voltage. The camera head is made of metal. This can lead to short circuits during
use. For safety reasons, disconnect all parts of the facility from the power supply
before each inspection.
• Only hold the camera head and camera neck in liquids that do not carry a live
voltage.
• The connection sockets must not come into contact with liquids.
• Always use the camera with a protective cap.
• Attention, LED light: Do not look directly into the LED light! Do not look into the
beam directly or with optical instruments!
• In industrial facilities, the accident prevention regulations for electrical equipment
and facilities issued by the Industrial Employers' Liability Association must be
adhered to!
b) Miscellaneous
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the
device.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an
expert or at a qualified shop.

covered by these operating instructions, please do not hesitate to contact our technical

OPERATION
Only hold the camera head and camera neck in liquids that do not carry a live voltage.
The endoscope may only be used for inspecting facilities that are not connected to a
power source.
The camera head is made from metal and can lead to short circuits when used without
the protective cap.
For safety reasons, turn off all power sources before each inspection.
Avoid heavy mechanical loads and vibrations. The bending radius must not be less than
the minimum of 10 cm.
a) Securing the endoscope device to the tripod.
1. Place the product with the tripod horizontally in its working position on a level and even
surface.
2. Insert the endoscope device (BS-1500T, not included) into the holder on the top of the
reel.
3. Secure the endoscope using the screws in the holder.
4. Follow the above instructions in reverse order to disassemble the device.
b) Connecting/changing the inspection camera
1. Connect the adapter cable to the endoscope
using the 8-pin socket.
2. Ensure the connecting plug and socket are
aligned properly; the key on the plug must fit
exactly into the slot on the socket. The pins on
the connecting plug fit exactly into the openings
on the connecting socket. An arrow mark is
printed on the connecting socket. This arrow
mark must point to the endoscope display.
3. Screw the metal screw cap on the plug into place
in a clockwise direction. Unscrew the metal screw
cap in an anticlockwise direction. Disconnect the
cable by removing the connecting plug.
4. Connect the other side of the adapter cable to
the connecting plug on the tripod with the 8-pin
socket.
5. Follow the previous instructions for connecting
the adapter cable and the endoscope. The
sockets on the adapter cable are of a different
size.
