Maintenance interval

The maintenance must be carried out before the start of the heating season, so that the correct
functioning of the air curtain system is guaranteed.
Cleaning interval
The cleaning of the intake grilles depends on the degree of pollution. In practice it has been
found that the grates must be cleaned every 3 to 6 weeks.
Cleaning
Housing
Contamination on the outside of the housing does not affect the operation. If this is required for
optical reasons, you may be able to clean the housing.
This can be done with a damp cloth that is possibly soaked in a mild detergent (rinse aid).
Suction grille (filter)
Easyair air curtain systems are designed to be easily cleaned.
If you want to clean the intake grille, you do not need to disassemble the grille first. Contami-
nants can be removed with a vacuum cleaner and a brush. You can also clean the grid with a
damp cloth.
In the latter case you must first let the intake grille dry before you use the air cur-
tain system again!

Heating element

In order to open the inspection hatch, the suction grille must first
be disconnected.
The suction grille is mounted with clip closures and can be
loosened with a wide screwdriver. The grid is equipped with
safety cables to prevent it from falling down.
The inspection hatch contains a safety screw which is accessible
after removal of the suction grille and which must be removed.

door does not swing open uncontrollably.
During maintenance, the hot water heating element (behind
the intake grille) must be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner and a
radiator brush.
For safety reasons, the voltage to the air curtain system must
always be interrupted for the duration of maintenance work.
