Approximately Determining Zero

a
1. Undo the clamping screw of the centre column (3).
2. Adjust the fine adjustment sleeve (2) so that the edge of the fine adjustment sleeve (2) and
the edge of the centre column (3) are approx. 7.5 mm apart (1) and the clearances (a) are the
same on both sides.
3. Tighten the clamping screw of the centre column (3) (tightening torque 4 Nm).
