Camera assembly and connection
Installing the camera
• If you need wall plugs to fasten the camera mount on the wall (depending
on the wall condition), mark the exact location for the drill holes through the
screw holes in the wall mount.
Make sure you do not damage any existing wires or pipes when drilling
mounting holes or tightening screws.
• Fasten the wall mount to the wall with the screws (and wall plugs, if neces-
sary).
Connecting the camera
• You only need to connect the camera to the power supply. Configuration
and operation ensue wirelessly via WLAN.
• If you intend to also use a memory card, insert it now into the card slot. The
card slot is on the right side of the camera.
If a memory card is inserted, only automatic recording is possible in mo-
tion detection mode.
When facing the camera, the micro SD cards contacts should point to-
ward you.
• Slide the card into the slot so that it clicks into place.
• If you want to remove the card later on, push down on the card so that it
unlocks. Then remove it from the slot.
• Connect the outlet of the AC power supply enclosed to the socket provided
on the camera. This is located at the bottom, on the part that points toward
the hinge of the mount.
• Now plug the power supply into a power outlet.
• The camera will start automatically.
