Use caution when removing parts for cleaning as some debris may be sharp.
Check and clean the Filter System
The filter system consists of a coarse filter, a flat fine filter and a micro filter.
The filters keep large foreign objects in the rinsing water away from the pump. These
foreign objects may occasionally block the filters.
Check the filters for residue by:
• Unscrew the filter cylinder as illustrated and take out filter system.
• Remove any residue and the clean filters under running water.
• Reinstall the filter system in reverse sequence and ensure that the arrow
marks are opposite each other after closing the filter system.
Waste Water Pump
Large food remnants in the rinsing water not retained by the filters may block the waste
water pump. The rinsing water does not get pumped out and covers the filter.
In this case:
• Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
• Remove the filters.
• Scoop out water, use a sponge if required.
• Using a spoon, pry off pump cover (as illustrated) until it clicks, then grip the cover
by the lug and first pull it upward until it resists and then pull it out forward.
• Check inner compartment and remove any foreign objects.
• Place cover in the original position, press down and engage. It is important
that the pump cover be securely snapped into place. If not, the dishwasher
will not drain properly.
• Reinstall filters.
Clean the Exterior Door Panel
Colored doors: use only a soft cloth dampened with soapy water.
Stainless steel doors: use a soft cloth with a non-abrasive cleaner (preferably a liquid
spray) made for cleaning stainless steel. For the best results, apply stainless steel
cleaner to the cloth and wipe the surface.
Clean the Door Gasket
Regularly clean the door gasket with a damp cloth to remove food particles and other
debris. Don't use bleach based wipes as they could cause stainless steel to rust. Also
clean the door seal, located inside the dishwasher at the bottom of the door.
Preparing your unit for Vacation
Before leaving for vacation during warmer weather, besides turning off the main valve, also turn off water supply at the
nearest point to the dishwasher. During colder weather, please follow the instructions for winterizing your unit below.
NWinterizing your unit
If your dishwasher will be unused for an extended period of time in a location that experiences freezing temperatures
(holiday home or through a vacation period), have your dishwasher winterized by a professional servicer.
