Application and function
5. BODY FAT TEST
Setting up:
In the standby or setting mode press the program button to adjust the settings for your body fat
test.After selecting the body fat mode you see the parameter functions on the screen. Use the
+/- buttons to select and set the following data:
F-1: Enter your gender; (1) male (2) female
F-2: Enter your age; the initial age is 25years by default. Use +/- buttons to set your personal
age.
F-3: Enter your height; the display shows 170cm by default. Use the +/- buttons to adjust your
personal height.
F-4: Enter your weight; display shows number 70kg by default. Use the +/- buttons to set your
personal weight.
F-5: Now use both hands to hold onto the metal pulse sensors on the handles until a number
lights up in the display.
6. EXPLANATION OF BODY FAT INDEX:
The body fat index is a result of a person's height, weight, age and gender. It can be used as a
reference for a healthy weight adjustment. The ideal body fat index should be between 20 and
25. Values below 19 are considered underweight, values between 26 and 29 are considered
overweight and obesity is considered to be above 30.

advice from your doctor!
7. HEART RATE
The handles of the treadmill are equipped with heart rate sensors. To activate the heart rate
monitor please cover the metal part of the handles with the palms of your hands for 5 seconds.
The monitor is activated and measures your pulse for 30 seconds. Keep a loose grip around
the handles. If the grip is too strong incorrect measurements may occur. Please clean the pulse
sensors regularly to ensure that proper contact can be established.
The heart rate measurement is not a medical function. Many factors can influence the measure-
ment of your heart rate. The hand pulse sensors cannot determine your heart rate as accurately
as, for example, a chest strap. The heart rate measurement is for exercise purposes only.

Application and function
Sleep mode:
If the treadmill is not being used for more than 5 minutes, it automatically enters the sleep mode.
The display turns off automatically. To use the treadmill again press any button to exit the sleep
mode and wait for the display to light up completely.
Safety key:
To use the treadmill, you must plug the safety key in the specified location. If you wish to remove
the safety key during operation, all functions are stopped immediately, all data is reset, the
display shows"---" and you hear an audio signal every second. To resume your run, reconnect
the safety key and re-enter all your data.
Step counting description:
While running on the treadmill, the number of your steps is being counted and displayed in the
step display. The memory resets after the workout.
NOTE: The step count can be influenced by many factors and can therefore be flawed. However,
this function can certainly serve as an exercise aid.
USB port:
When the treadmill is connected to a power supply you can charge a device of your choice by
plugging it in the USB port.
Bluetooth music function:
Play music: Go to the system settings of your device and open the Bluetooth function. Connect
"RZ_TreadMill" to play your music via the loudspeaker of the treadmill.
Trainings-APP:
We recommend downloading the training app "SmartTreadmill" from your App Store, availa-
ble on iOS and Android.
