It is the duty of the supervisor to inform the machine operatives
about the prevention and consequences of overloading.

Jewellery, long hair or loose clothing could present a safety risk.
Appropriate safety measures must be taken to avoid injury.

Access to the infeed and outfeed areas by personal who have not
received proper training and instruction is not permitted.

Loading and unloading areas, work areas and thoroughfares must
be kept clear.

The operator must ensure that emergency exits are kept clear of
any obstructions.

The transfer trolley must only be coupled to the cleaning machine
or to the conveyor system when in the correct position. Vertical ad-
justment is considered gross misuse.

Never adjust the trolley height when there people in the vicinity of
the height-adjustable transfer trolley. Always stand behind the trans-
fer trolley handle when adjusting the trolley height.

Only move the height-adjustable transfer trolley when the lifting
device is at its lowest position.

Be sure to keep your hands away from the height-adjustable trans-
fer trolley when raising and lowering it.

The conveyor system must be checked every day for the correct
functioning of the safety related locking mechanisms.

Transporting people or riding on the conveyor system is prohibited.

charger

The rechargeable battery and charger must be used for the vari-
able transfer trolley. For safety reasons, the transfer trolley must not
be used with a rechargeable battery or charger produced by another
manufacturer.

If you are using a mains plug adapter, make sure that it is approved
for continuous operation.

Stop using the rechargeable battery immediately if you notice an
unusual smell from it, if liquid is leaking from it, if it is significantly
overheating or if it is discoloured or deformed. Dispose of the re-
chargeable battery immediately.

Batteries will deplete over time. They can then leak corrosive fluids.
Avoid contact with the eyes and skin. In the event of contact, rinse
thoroughly with water and seek medical advice.
