Cleaning the drip
tray
 After the transfer trolley is shut down, the cleaning machine
chamber walls may still be hot.
We recommend allowing the cleaning machine to cool down.
When the system is shut down, the maintenance and repair areas
are not located in a hazard area. Never carry out maintenance and
cleaning work while the system is in operation.

Cleaning and disinfecting the transfer trolley

 According to the cleaning and disinfection plan in the CSSD,
contaminated areas of the transfer trolley must undergo cleaning
and disinfection using a suitable cleaning and disinfecting agent.
National recommendations relating to surface disinfectant listings
and approvals, for example, must be observed.
 Take care when using process chemicals. Some agents may be
corrosive and irritant.
The relevant safety regulations and safety data sheets issued by
the process chemical manufacturers must be observed.
Wear gloves and protective goggles.
The variable transfer trolley must not be reprocessed by machine.
Cleaning must be performed manually using a suitable detergent and
disinfectant.
Any markings and warning labels are generally durable and resistant
to cleaning processes, but should nevertheless be handled with
care.
Clean the transfer trolley using a moist cotton cloth.
Use a detergent and disinfectant for more stubborn soiling. Follow
national recommendations when doing this.
The use of high pressure cleaners or similar is not permitted.
The drip tray can be removed to prevent liquid from collecting in it. It
can be cleaned and disinfected if required.
Remove the hose from the drain connection in the drip tray (if
present).
Remove the drip bottle (if present) from the holder and dispose of
its contents carefully.
