Please note the following
Read the operating instructions thoroughly. Persons who are not familiar with the operating
instructions and children should not be permitted to use the appliance. It should be used only for
the purpose for which it was intended. Any use for other purposes could prove dangerous and is
strictly forbidden.
Before putting into use
Before the first use, the 6 pans and the grill-plate should be washed in hot water. Stand the Pizza-
Grill on the surface on which it is eventually to be used and ensure that it is level, stable and dry.
Observe a reasonable distance from walls and other objects. When first switched on, the appliance
may produce an odour due to the new parts being heated. This is typical of electrically heated
equipment and will disappear after a few minutes. It is an absolutely normal effect and does not
detract at all from the quality of the product.
Putting into use
For all uses the following applies
Plug in the mains plug. For uses 1 and 2 switch on the top switch and for use 3 (Pizza baking)
switch on also the lower switch! After approximately 15 Minutes the appliance will have reached
the optimum operating temperature.
1) Melting cheese, grilling
Lay the Raclette-Cheese together with other ingredients such as onion rings, garlic slices, peppe-
roni or tomato pieces in the pans. Spices should be added only after cooking is complete as many
spices can react under the heat to produce a bitter taste.
So that meat does not stick to the grill-plate it is recommended that, first a rasher of bacon is
fried, or alternatively very little oil added. When there is too much fat in the grill-plate there is a
danger of fat spitting. Grilling fruit is not recommended as these, because of their high acidity,
can quickly become stuck to the plate.

2) Cooking pancakes
If you wish to cook pancakes, use the side of the cast plate which has two circular depressions.
For the expert distribution of the batter on the surface of the plate, use the special batter spreader
provided.

3) Cooking mini-pizzas
So that the pizzas become fully crusty and tasty, manipulate the top switch for the heat from
above and the lower switch for the heat from below!
For professionally and cleanly removing the pizzas from the pans use the Removing Tool pro-
vided.
Tip 1
In order to make optimum preparation for your Pizza-Party, make beforehand a sufficient quantity of
rolled pizza-dough pieces, correctly sized for the pans. Lay these on top of each other with baking
paper between each to prevent them sticking together.
Tip 2
Turn the pizzas around in the pans or exchange the positions of the pans in the appliance so that
they become regularly brown.
