• Make sure that the specifications in this chapter are always observed.
Compare the limit values in these operating instructions with your actual

application (e.g. pressures, forces, torques, masses, speeds, temperatures).
Only if the loading limits are observed can the component be operated in
accordance with the relevant safety guidelines.
Please observe the prevailing ambient conditions.

Please observe the regulations applicable to the place of use (e.g. of trade

association or national institutions).
Remove the packing except for the adhesive labels on the supply ports (to

prevent dirt).
It is intended that the packaging be recycled on the basis of its constituent
materials (exception: oiled paper = general waste).
Make sure that the compressed air is as follows (see Technical data):

correctly prepared,
filtered,
preferably unlubricated.
The continued use of non−lubricated compressed air for the complete service
life of the component will preserve the life−time lubrication of the component.
Pressurise the complete system slowly.
S
All movements of the actuators even in unexpected situations will then be
controlled. For slow start−up pressurisation use soft−start valve type HEL−... .
Use the product in its original state without unauthorised modifications.

Otherwise operational reliability cannot be guaranteed.
Only the modifications described in this manual are permitted (e.g. adjust
ments).
