TROUBLESHOOTING: If flashlight does not turn on or stay on - 1. Check the batteries. If they are
exhausted, replace. 2. Check the tailcap. The metal surfaces contacting the barrel, tailcap and spring assembly
should be shiny metal without obstruction between them. Any corrosion formed by a foreign substance should
be carefully removed. 3. If all of the above steps have been followed and the flashlight still does not perform
properly, follow the steps in the HOW AND WHEN TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM section, or see the

WARNINGS: AVOID EYE INJURY - Do not stare directly into beam or shine it directly into anyone's face.
Doing so for more than a few seconds could cause retinal damage. Light emitting diode class 1 per DIN-
EN-60825 (2001). Any battery may leak harmful chemicals which may damage skin, clothing, or the inside of
the flashlight. TO AVOID RISK OF INJURY, DO NOT LET ANY MATERIAL LEAKED FROM A BATTERY COME
IN CONTACT WITH EYES OR SKIN. Any battery may rupture or explode if put in a fire or otherwise exposed
to excessive heat. TO AVOID RISK OF INJURY, DO NOT EXPOSE BATTERIES TO EXCESSIVE HEAT. To reduce
the risk of personal injury or harm to your flashlight, take the following precautions: • Use only alkaline
batteries from a reputable manufacturer. • Do not use different brands of batteries in the same flashlight. •
When replacing batteries, always replace the whole set. • Do not use rechargeable or reuseable alkaline
batteries. • Do not try to recharge batteries that are not specifically designed to be recharged. • Always install
batteries with the "+" end facing the head end of the flashlight and the "-" end facing the tailcap end of the
flashlight. • Warning: batteries must be inserted correctly. Failure to do so could cause permanent
damage to the LED module. • Do not allow children to install batteries unsupervised. • Follow battery
manufacturer's instructions as to proper handling, storage and disposal of batteries. • Carefully follow the steps
listed under INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE. • Not recommended for use by children under seven years
of age.
TEN YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY Mag Instrument, Inc. (Mag) warrants to the original owner that this
flashlight is free from defects in parts and workmanship for ten years from the date of first retail purchase. Mag
or an authorized Mag Warranty Service Center will, free of charge, repair the flashlight or, at its option, replace
a defective flashlight or component. (Mag does not warrant the future availability of any particular colors,
markings or decorations, and reserves the option to replace a custom flashlight with a standard flashlight.)
Registration is not required for warranty coverage. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties and conditions,
express or implied.
EXCLUSIONS: This warranty does not cover any of the following: 1. Battery exhaustion; 2. Battery leakage; 3.
LED burnout; or 4. Damage to or failure of the flashlight or any component thereof due to alteration, misuse,
battery leakage or lack of maintenance.
MAG DISCLAIMS ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some
jurisdictions (countries, provinces, and states) do not allow exclusion or limitation of implied warranties,
incidental or consequential damages and/or limitations on transferability, so the above limitations and
exclusions may not apply to you.
HOW AND WHEN TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM: 1. In case of battery exhaustion, do not return the
flashlight to Mag, but replace the batteries. 2. If the flashlight has been damaged by leakage of batteries, do
not return the flashlight to Mag but determine what brand of battery caused the damage and follow the battery
manufacturer's instructions about how to make a damage claim. 3. For warranty returns: Send the flashlight
(postage or shipping prepaid) to Mag Instrument, 2001 South Hellman Avenue - 51453 Ontario, California,
U.S.A. 91761-8019, Attention: Warranty/Repair Department, or to an authorized Mag Warranty Service Center.
For the location of an authorized Mag Warranty Service Center in your area, consult the retailer where you
purchased the flashlight or see the customer service section at www.maglite.com. For your protection and to
expedite handling and/or postal claims, we recommend that all returns be insured and sent Certified and/or
Return Receipt Requested. Do not send batteries with flashlights.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from country
to country, province to province, and state to state. Where any term of this warranty is prohibited by the
law of any jurisdiction, such term shall there be null and void, but the remainder of this warranty shall remain
in full force and effect. THESE STATEMENTS DO NOT AFFECT THE STATUTORY RIGHTS OF A CONSUMER.

het risico op persoonlijke verwondingen te beperken of schade aan uw zaklantaarn te voorkomen, neem de
volgende voorzorgsmaatregelen in acht: • Gebruik alleen alkaline batterijen van een achtenswaardige
fabrikant. • Gebruik geen verschillende merken van batterijen in dezelfde zaklantaarn. • Wanneer u batterijen
vervangt, altijd de volledige set vervangen. • Gebruik geen oplaadbare of gebruikte alkine batterijen. •
Probeer niet om batterijen op te laden die niet bestemd zijn om opgeladen te worden. • Altijd batterijen
installeren met de "+" pool naar de kop van de zaklantaarn toe en de "-" pool naar de achterkant van de
zaklantaarn toe. • Waarschuwing: de batterijen dienen correct geplaatst te worden. Als u dit nalaat kan
de LED-module permanente schade oplopen. • Niet toelaten dat kinderen batterijen installeren zonder
supervisie. • Volg de instructies van de fabrikant van de batterijen voor het juist behandelen, bewaren en
afvoeren van de batterijen. • Nauwkeurig de stappen volgen die vermeld zijn onder INSPECTIE EN
ONDERHOUD. • Niet geschikt voor kinderen jonger dan 7 jaar.
BEPERKTE GARANTIE VAN TIEN JAAR Mag Instrument, Inc. (Mag) garandeert aan de oorspronkelijke
eigenaar dat deze zaklantaarn vrij is van tekortkomingen in materiaal en fabricage gedurende een periode van
tien jaar na aankoop in de detailhandel. Mag of een bevoegd Mag garantieservicecentrum zal de zaklantaarn
kosteloos repareren of, naar eigen goeddunken, een defecte zaklantaarn of defect onderdeel vervangen. (Mag
garandeert niet dat bepaalde kleuren, markeringen of decoraties in de toekomst beschikbaar zullen zijn en
behoudt zich het recht voor een speciale zaklantaarn te vervangen door een standaard zaklantaarn.) Registratie
is geen vereiste voor geldigheid van deze garantie. Deze garantie vervangt alle andere garanties en
voorwaarden, hetzij uitdrukkelijk, hetzij impliciet.
