Alignment of the Axes

When the desired grade is correctly set in the display, it is necessary to align the X
and Y axes to the jobsite.
= 0.0059
= 0.0059 x 100
= 0.590%
Ensure the Rugby is properly positioned
over a control point.
As shown, the direction of the X-axis is
seen from the front of the Rugby,
sighting over the top.
Rotate the Rugby slightly until the sight-
lines are aligned with your second control
point.
Once aligned, work can begin.
