Installat. of optical strain gages without potting (optional)

4.1 Positioning optical strain gages

HBM optical strain gages are carefully packaged. Please follow the instructions
below, to avoid damaging or destroying the fiberglass of the strain gage.
The strain gage is placed in a protective wallet in cardboard packaging, to
protect it during transportation.
Carefully remove the strain gage from its packaging.
