STORAGE; USE AND MAINTENANCE
Please carry out an inspection of the visor screen and linkages at regular and also deployment-dependent inter-
vals. A damaged /scratched visor may no longer be used. It must be rendered unusable and replaced.
CLEANING AND CARE OF PANORAMA VISOR (PF 1000 EXTREME)
Clean the visor using only lukewarm water. Do not use solvents. Proper cleaning, care and handling of the visor
are prerequisites for its faultless functioning.
Visor temperature range
Between a lowest temperature of -40 °C and a highest temperature of 120 °C, the visor fulfils the relevant
requirements of the standard DIN EN 14458:2004.
OPERATING EYE PROTECTION VISOR
(OPTIONAL)
The eye protection visor can be opened by means of
a lever on the right and left. This is also ideally suited
for people wearing spectacles.

USE OF NECK PROTECTOR
The PF 1000 helmet series is equipped with a neck protector made of Nomex. This is folded into the helmet
and can be pulled down as and when required. Please fasten the two snaps for maximum comfort. By means
of the snap fastenings at 5 different points, further neck protection alternatives can be adopted such as leather,
luminescent or Holland cloth all-round neck protection.
OPERATING PANORAMA VISOR
By depressing the right and left side, the Panorama
Visor can be made to drop down or retract accor-
dingly.
