- Pump from time to time by activating the lever
to maintain the pressure during spraying.
- Depending on the model: The regulator
provides a constant spraying pressure.
Therefore:
Spraying takes place at the pressure indicated
on the regulator, even if the sprayer is set to a
higher pressure than this. Spraying stops when
the sprayer pressure falls below the pressure
indicated on the regulator. Pump again to
pressurise the apparatus.
- A range of accessories are available to ensure
treatments suitable for different uses (weed
control booms, telescopic lance, weed control
cover, etc.) (Fig. 18).

After use/ Cleaning
After each use:
- Avoid risks of pollution by recovering any
unused product and its packaging.
- Wash your hands and face with clean water
after using the sprayer.
- Never store the sprayer pressurised.
- Never store the treatment agent inside the sprayer.
- Store the sprayer in a closed location out of the
reach of children.
- Clean the handle filter, the filling filter and the
nozzle in fresh water after clearing any pressure
that may remain in the apparatus by spraying
without activating the pumping lever (Fig. 23 - 24)
- If you spray until there is air in the jet: spray
until there is no more pressure. The residual
volume of liquid is less than 250 ml.
- Before storing and before any other use
with another treatment agent, perform a
rinsing operation, i.e. put 1 litre of water into
the reservoir for dilution, mix thoroughly
and operate the apparatus to rinse all of the
apparatus' components.
This rinsing operation must be carried out without
removing any of the accessories used during
the treatment. The rinsing mixture must not be
emptied into a sewer but must be sprayed outside
on the land that has already been treated.
- Repeat the operation several times before the
winter period.
- Rinsing for models equipped with 1 bar pressure
regulator: add 1 litre of water to the sprayer,
pressurise and spray into a suitable container until
all the liquid has been evacuated and air comes out
of the nozzle.
Remove the regulator, install the lance on
the handle and activate the trigger to fully
depressurise the sprayer. Caution, if you want to
remove the regulator while there is still product
in the sprayer, wear gloves and do not activate
the trigger on the handle.
When treatment is complete, re-install the
regulator and carry out the rinsing operation as
indicated above.
- If there is still some unused treatment product left,
eliminate any pressure remaining in the apparatus
by spraying without activating the pumping lever.
Recover any possible excess of product and rinse
the sprayer again as indicated above.
- Before using again, even if it is used again
immediately, with the same treatment product
or a different one, repeat the rinsing operation 3
consecutive times and check that the sprayer works
properly.
MAINTENANCE / SERVICING
Periodically, on re-use after the winter period
and several times per season, grease all the
joints (with silicone grease for sprayers) and
check that the sprayer is working properly.
- Clean the nozzle and the nozzle holder (Fig. 23)
- Clean the lance filter and filling filter (Fig. 24)
- Disassemble the pump.
Grease or replace the valve and the seals (Fig. 25)
- The sprayer is equipped with a reservoir which
is resistant to UV radiation.
