Do not place empty pans on the cera-
mic hob. Heating an empty pan or
pot activates the overheat cut-out
and the appliance switches off.
Do not operate the appliance if it is damaged
or not working properly.
Cleaning
Caution!
The appliance must be cleaned regularly to
remove cooking residues. Failing to keep the
appliance in a clean condition will have an
adverse effect on the life of the product and
may place it in a dangerous condition.
Before cleaning the appliance, switch
it off and unplug the mains plug
from the power outlet socket. If
moisture gets into the appliance, electronic
components may be damaged. Make sure
that no liquid gets inside the appliance
through the air vents. Do not immerse the
appliance in water or other liquids and do
not put it in a dishwasher.
Warning:
The hob may be hot after use. There
is then a risk of skin burns! Wait until
the appliance has cooled down.
Use only accessories or replacement parts re-
commended by the manufacturer.
Clean the appliance after use as soon as it
has cooled down. Waiting too long will un-
in extreme cases make it impossible. Too
heavy soiling may damage the appliance un-
der certain circumstances.
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaners
and do not use solvents.
Do not attempt to remove stubborn dirt by
scraping with hard implements.
Ceramic hob
Wipe down the ceramic hob with a damp
cloth or using a dilute, non-abrasive soap so-
lution.
Casing and control panel
Clean the casing and the control panel with
a soft moistened cloth. Do not use any clea-
ners containing solvents such as petroleum
so as not to damage the plastic parts.
