4.5. Select Measuring Mode: Standard or Averaging Mode

This instrument enables you to select either standard (standard single measurement) or
Averaging Mode (automatic triple measurement).
To select standard mode, push the switch on the side of the
instrument towards «1», then only one measurement will be
taken. If you select «3», the unit will inflate and deflate three
times resulting in one final average measurement.
Averaging Mode Technology
• In Averaging Mode, three measurements are automatically taken in succession and
the result then automatically analyzed and displayed. Because your blood pressure
constantly fluctuates, a result determined in this way is more reliable than one pro-
duced by a single measurement.
• By pushing mode switch to «3», the selected Averaging Mode appears in the display
