Install the device

D ATTENTION!
Danger of damage due to falling parts!
The device or other components can fall down during
assembly and damage the hob, the kitchen units or other
objects.
☞ Hold the parts tightly.
☞ Protect the area below the device (e.g. using thick
cardboard).
Installation of the device can take place together with
installation of the kitchen units or the extractor hood.
The installation sequence may vary, depending on the local
conditions.
 Observe the extractor hood instructions.
☞ Ensure that sufficient space is available for the installation.
If necessary (e.g. distance from cabinet to ceiling < 175 mm),
the base housing must be installed before cabinet
installation.
☞ Ensure that the assembly area is accessible. If necessary,
remove cabinet doors, pivoting flaps or spice rack.
☞ Check the dimensions of your installation variant.

☞ Saw the required cut-out in the cabinet.

Variant A
☞ Place the base housing into the cabinet from above.
☞ Screw the base housing to the cabinet (chipboard screws
PZ2 4.0 x 16 mm).

☞ If necessary, cut the pipe element to the correct length:
Distance from the top edge of the extractor hood to the
bottom of the base housing plus max. 5 mm.
