Installation
2.1
Positioning the base
The base should be installed in a place which is clean and as free from dust as possible.
The unit base (REF 095-075-00) should be set on a sturdy, level table.
2.2
Removing the safety cap on the back of the vacuum unit
On the back of the AIRVAC 2002 is a threaded socket for securing the vacuum unit to
the unit base (Fig. 1). This threaded socket has a safety cap which should be removed with
a screwdriver or pliers so that the vacuum unit can be screwed onto the base unit.
2.3
Fitting the AIRVAC 2002 to the unit base
The AIRVAC 2002 is fitted to the unit base as shown in Fig. 1.
Caution: Slide the back of the vacuum unit with the slots onto the mounting screws
of the unit base, lower the unit into position (Fig. 1). After fitting the
AIRVAC 2002 onto the mounting bolts, it is essential to secure it to the
unit base using the locking screw supplied.

1. Hook AIRVAC 2002 onto the mounting screws ...
2. ... and screw into the final position.

Remove the safety cap on the
AIRVAC 2002 before mounting.
Secure the AIRVAC 2002 on the unit base
with the locking screw.
