may be deformed by heat. Check that there is adequate open space around the
appliance: 100cm in front, 20cm from the floor, 100cm from the ceiling and 50cm at
the sides.
 The plug point must be accessible so as to easily remove the plug in the event of an
emergency; the appliance must not be placed under or close to a window.
 Ensure that no utility lines (electricity, water, gas etc.) pass inside the wall where the
appliance is to be hung.
 Trace the 4 holes with the distance between the centres measuring 747x547mm
(LxH): before drilling the holes, it is recommended to check the measurements on the
panel itself.
 Drill the wall using a Ø8mm bit; fully insert the plastic plug into the hole (the plastic
part with fins that is 25mm in length), and then secure the panel with the screws
provided (the neck of the plug must fit completely into the hole on the panel), and
cover the screwhead with the plastic cap. The plugs, screws, caps and drill bit are
provided.
Portable installation
Installation of the two support feet: it is best to place the panel on a smooth, level,
horizontal surface. Place the feet under the panel so that the gap in the middle fits on
its lower edge. They must be at an equal distance from each side (recommended
distance ±5cm). Screw on from the back. Tighten the screw and ensure the feet are
square (at right angles).
Ensure that the power cord is correctly positioned and does not come into contact
with hot parts or sharp edges, or become wound around the appliance itself and is not
twisted.
The surface of the appliance can be painted using water-based paint (do not use oil-
based paint), but the front display and the control box at the back must not be
painted and must be protected from water or any liquid: should they become wet, dry
thoroughly and with care so that all connections and electrical parts are perfectly dry.
Wait 24 hours before using the appliance to ensure that the paint is completely dry.
USE
When using the appliance for the first time, run it for 15 or 20 minutes in a well-
ventilated room to eliminate any smells (from the paint or other sources).
The appliance comes with the following controls:
- 0/I switch: 0= off, I= on. It is found on the side of the appliance.
-Temperature sensor: it is the plastic pin above the switch.
During shipping, it is pushed in: in order for it to work correctly,
pull it out gently (it extends ±2cm).
-Control panel with display (found on the front of the appliance), for controlling and
viewing functions that are operated as follows:
-
button: starts the appliance and/or puts it into stand-by.
-SET button: starts and confirms changes made to the ambient temperature (min=
0°C, max= 37°C) and the time (hour, minutes, day).
