MATERIALS
A 1 Cross Bar
D 4 M10 x 40 x 1.5mm Bolts (10.9 Grade), Lock Washers and Flat Washers (40mm O.D.)
Z99 1 Flip up electrical plate
ZE 1 Angle Bracket
For use with either
SK23A Flange neck option – ZF3004. Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or
Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
SK23AQ Detachable neck option – ZQ3004. Please refer to ZQ fitting instructions for installation.
SK23AQF Detachable neck option – ZQF3004. Please refer to ZQ fitting instructions for installation.
FITTING
1. Remove the rear light units, two screws beneath plastic covers and carefully slide rearwards. Remove the
plastic two stage studs along the top edge and the two nuts in each corner.
2. Remove the wheel arch screws and one tip screw each side. Locate and remove the lower bumper screws.
Disconnect the parking sensor loom from the control unit behind the right hand luggage panel and feed out
through the grommet hole in the rear panel.
3. Carefully pull the bumper outwards at each tip and slide rearwards, disconnect the number plate lights and
store the bumper carefully. Remove the inner bumper beam and retain for future fitment if necessary.
4. Refit the inner beam bolts to the rear panel to prevent water ingress. Lower the rear exhaust silencer and heat
shield, locate the mounting points D on both chassis sections and remove the protective tape. Insert cross bar
A into the exposed chassis apertures.
5. Attach crossbar A to the vehicle using fasteners D, install the supplied neck and electrical plate. Check the
operation of the neck if detachable. Finally tighten all fasteners to the specified torque. Cut the bumper as
detailed below.
Recommended torque settings: Grade 8.8 bolts: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 80 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214
Nm Grade 10.9: M12 – 120Nm, M10 – 68Nm
