Preparing milk froth

CAUTION:
Before the first use, read the safety
instructions on pages 4 - 11.
WARNING:
Place the base on a dry, level surface
that cannot become hot. Ensure that
the bottom of the milk frother is kept dry to
prevent the risk of electric shock.
Only at the first use: Take the jug from the base unit. Remove the lid, sealing ring and

whisk from the milk frother. Clean all parts manually as described in the cleaning in-
structions (see page 20 - 21). Replace whisk and all other components in the jug. Finally
replace the jug on the base.

Fill the jug with milk up to one of the

two „MAX" level indicators: for hot milk
do not pass the upper „MAX", for milk
froth do not pass the lower „MAX". Never
undercut the „MIN" limit.

CAUTION:
1. Never remove the whisk
while the unit is in operation
– risk of burning the coating.
2. Do not add ingredients such as sy-
rup, sugar, chocolate powder or other
additives directly into the milk frother
- risk of damaging the coating!

Place the filled jug back on the base and put the lid on it. All buttons light up.

Choose your required milk preparation

by pressing the appropriate button. The
button blinks during preparation. When
the blinking stops the froth is ready. To
interrupt operation, press the selected
button again or lift the jug from the base.
Preparation times:
Cold milk froth approx. 80 seconds, hot
milk and hot froth approx. 120 seconds.
Pour the finished milk or froth into a

cup or glass.
CAUTION:
Do not use a metal spoon to
empty the jug as this may
damage the coating!
INFO:
The milk frother switches itself
OFF automatically
after two
minutes. To switch it ON again, press
one of the four buttons.
CAUTION:
Always use cold, fresh milk
(whole or semi-skimmed) from
the refrigerator (39 - 43 °F / 4-6 °C).
Do not used enriched or flavoured milk
or milk prepared from powder. For hy-
gienic reasons, put the milk back in the
refrigerator after use.
