TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The 3M 6000 series filters must be selected in accordance with AS/NZS 1715.
3M Gas/vapour filters generally protect against either single or multiple conta-
minant types(s) and against particulates when combined with a particulate filter.

Filter Types
The 6000 Series gas/vapour filters are also classified, into one of two classes,
depending on the capacity to remove contaminants from the inhaled air.

Gas/Vapour Filter Classes
Note: 6075 formaldehyde <10 ppm
AX filters are for single use only
Class 2 Hg filters have maximum use life of 50 hours
WEL = Workplace Exposure Limit
Particulate filters can also be classified into one of three classes depending on the
efficiency in removing contaminants from the inhaled air.
