WARNING: the buttons are not hooked until a click is heard. Check that the strap
comes out properly from the cheek pad.

If your helmet is equipped with the D-Ring retention system, pull it down as indi-
cated in the attached D-Ring label.

Remove the inner comfort padding only when cleaning or washing is required.

Never use the helmet if all parts of the inner comfort padding have not been cor-
rectly and completely reassembled.

Delicately hand-wash in lukewarm water (max. 30° C) and neutral soap.

Rinse with cold water and allow drying at room temperature, away from direct
sunlight.

Never machine-wash the inner comfort padding.

The inner polystyrene is an easily deformable material. It is apt to change or get
partially destroyed to help absorb shocks.

Do not modify or alter the helmet's internal polystyrene components in any way.

Clean the inner polystyrene components with a damp cloth only and allow it to
dry at room temperature away from direct sunlight.

Never use tools or equipment of any sort to carry out the steps described
above.
VENTILATION SYSTEM
The ventilation system of the N53 helmet consists of:
Upper Air Intake:
air coming from the upper air intake, which is located under the peak, by directing it
in the top area of the rider's head without any dispersion.
Chin Guard Air Intake and Front Air Intakes:
mouth and forehead area (Fig. 10).
Rear Extractors:
in line with the base edge and allow warm and stale air to flow out, ensuring optimum
comfort inside the helmet. (Fig. 11).
REMOVABLE FILTER OF THE CHIN GUARD AIR INTAKE
The chin guard air intake is equipped with a removable inner filter embedded in the
inner chin guard which can be easily removed from its seat (Fig. 12) in order to increa-
se the air intake capacity and/or to wash it.
To replace the filter, insert it in its seat and place it properly behind the holding frame
fastened to the inner chin guard.

If you wish to use the helmet without the chin guard air intake filter, it is recom-
mended to remove the filter holding frame as well.
