Maintenance

The HPM touch pro is a low-maintenance device. However,
you should follow these simple guidelines to ensure best pos-
sible performance.
1. Always handle the device carefully. It is a measuring
instrument with sensitive electronics.
2. Avoid exposing the device to shock, continuous vibration or
extremely hot and cold temperatures.
3. Keep the device indoors at all times. When it is not in use,
always keep the device in its protective holster.
4. Keep the device away from dust and moisture. Clean with
a clean and soft cloth only. Do not use aggressive cleaning
agents.
5. Use commercially available micro fibre cloths to clean the
display and wipe off finger prints.
6. Check the batteries regularly to avoid premature aging. If
you will not be using the device for an extended period of
time, always remove the batteries.
7. Replace the batteries when the battery charge indicator on
the display reads "empty".
8. Do not disassemble the device.
9. Do not attempt to modify any part of the device.
The touch screen meets particularly high quality require-
ments and safeguards that 99.9% of the pixels are always
active. However, if isolated pixel errors (pixels that are too
dark or light) occur during operation of the device, this does
not necessarily mean the display is faulty.
