Installation
For outdoor use we recommend to choose a location that is pro-
tected from rain (e.g. under the eaves) to prevent the formation of
droplets on the camera's front panel that will cause a distorted and
unusable image.
The camera is equipped with a pre-installed wall mount. This is to be tight-
ened to a suitable place using three screws. Use dowels if required by the
surface.
Make sure when screwing into place or when drilling holes that
cables or wires are not damaged.
Invisible placing of the connection cable requires drilling of a suitable hole,
which is large enough to lead the plugs through, below the wall-mount. The
wall mount will then cover the hole and protect the cable from intentional
damage.
Alternatively, the cable may be lead outward via a small opening on the side
of the wall mount. Protect the cable with a suitable cable trench, etc.
The connection plugs are not protected from humidity and need to
be in a dry place; otherwise they will corrode.
