3.3 SAFETY AND INFORMATIONAL INDICATIONS

In some cases, these indications point out possible hazards,
while in others, they merely provide information.
Always act with maximum caution; beside each indication is
an explanation of its meaning.

3.3.1 Informational indications

Table A (Fig. 8.1) shows the bit and copier adjustment system.
These adjustments are explained in detail in sections 5.6.1 and
A
(Figure 8.1)
5.6.2 of this manual.
B: Turn the control in a counterclockwise direction to dis-
tance the bit from the board in a horizontal direction and
to cut less material (+0005). Turn it in a clockwise direc-
tion to bring the bit closer to the board and remove more
material (-9995).
E: For copiers, turn the control clockwise to remove more
material in a vertical direction (+0.002), or countercloc-
kwise to remove less material (-9995).
The table shows the finish that may be made, according to
the type of bit and the thickness of the edge that is used.
Table B (Fig. 8.2) shows the maximum edge that may ex-
tend beyond the board, the minimum board width that
may be banded and the board thickness limits.
Label C (Fig. 8.2) shows the scrapers' fine adjustment sys-
tem, which will be explained in section 5.5 of this manual.
Label E (Fig. 8.2) shows the order to follow to adjust the
height of the feeder, trimmer and scraper. (See sections
5.3 5.5 and 5.6 of this manual.)
Label F (Fig. 8.2) shows the order to follow to adjust the
thickness of the edge: 1st take off the brake, 2nd adjust,
3rd apply the brake.

It also shows how to adjust the edge height, how to adjust
the amount of glue and finally, how to lock the gluing
unit or roller dispenser.
Label G (Fig. 8.2) indicates that there is no voltage to this
socket. It may only be used to connect the Virutex AS382L
dust collector synchronism to the machine.
Scale H (Fig. 8.2) indicates the feeder separation from the
"0" zero position at the manufacturing output.
Label I (Fig. 8.2) indicates that you must read the instruc-

Label N (fig 8.2) indicates the warnings and errors shown
on the control panel (see section 6.1.2 of this manual):
Warning A001: Warning that the bits and knives need to
be greased with CANTSPRAY.
Warning A002: Warning that the machine requires gene-
ral maintenance and cleaning.
Warning A003: Warning that the tension and condition
of the feeder belt must be checked.
Warning A004: Warning that the tension and condition
of the trimmer belt must be checked.
Warning A005: Warning that the condition of the cutters
and knives must be checked.
Warning A006: Warning that the drum needs to be clea-
ned.
Warning A007: Warning about the time that the machine
has been operating for and the number of metres glued.
Label O (Fig 8.2) indicates the direction in which the tri-
mmer motor turns.
Label P (Fig 8.2) indicates the height of the panel thick-
ness and can be used to check that the feeder is parallel.
